Dr. Anastasia CholakisÂ
PERIODONTIST, BA, DMD, Dip., Perio., FRCD(C)
Dr. Anastasia Kelekis-Cholakis obtained her BA from the University of Winnipeg in 1988 and her DMD and Diploma in Periodontics from the University of Manitoba in 1992 and 1998. She also attended the Misch Institute Program in Implant Dentistry at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Cholakis is a fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and a member of the Canadian and American Academy of Periodontists. Dr. Cholakis specializes in periodontics and implant dentistry and is an Associate Professor and Acting Director of the Graduate Periodontal Program at the University of Manitoba, Faculty of Dentistry*. She currently lectures nationally and internationally and has published articles in peer-reviewed journals.

She is an instructor for Nobel Biocare - the worlds oldest and largest dental implant company in the world. In the last two years she has mentored over 45 dentists in placing their first implant.
