All-on-4 Treatment

All-on-4 Treatment is an innovative approach to restoring an entire arch of teeth (upper and lower) and a great alternative to conventional dentures. This treatment uses only 4 implants, does not require bone grafts, and the patient receives beautiful new teeth the same day the implants are placed. The 2 back implants are angled in a special manner to use surrounding bone as an advantage. The replacement teeth can be immediately fixed over the implants, giving patients a beautiful smile in only one appointment!

In the past, full arch treatment often required more than 4 implants, bone grafting surgery, and over one year of treatment time, leaving a patient with either temporary dentures or without teeth for this period of time. Using this treatment approach, the patient has an appointment to gather data for their treatment plan, such as panoramic X-rays, a Kodak 3D CAT Scan, dental impressions, photographs, and an account of their medical and dental history. The treatment plan is then developed, discussed with the patient, and any questions the patient has are answered. At the next appointment the implants are placed by one of our Implantologists and the patient's replacement teeth are tried in and made to fit precisely, in the same appointment.

Over the course of the next six months, we see the patient periodically to check how they are doing with their new replacement teeth. After about six months, once healing has occurred and the implants are solidly combined with the patient's bone, we make new impressions and give the patient a new set of replacement teeth that are permanent. This is included in the initial cost of treatment and these replacement teeth will be long-lasting and provide a beautiful, natural smile for the patient.
