Kodak 3D CT Technology
The Cholakis Dental Implant Center utilizes Kodak's 3D technology for diagnosis and treatment planning of dental implant cases. With only a handful of these units in Canada, thistechnology with variable scan studies elevate patient care. 3D CAT Scans allow a detailed look at existing teeth, bone, nerves, and tissue.
The 3D and cross-sectional images offered by Kodak 3D CAT Scans provide our team with the following information:
- The exact location for implant placement.
- The quality and density of bone anchoring the dental implant.
- The type and size of dental implants that should be used.
- Location of nerves and sinuses so they can be avoided.
- An individualized treatment plan based on each patient's needs and anatomy.
Nobel Biocare Immediate Function™ Procedures
The Cholakis Dental Implant Center offers Nobel Biocare Immediate Function treatments. The All-on-4 Procedure is an alternative to traditional dentures that provides most patients with implants and a full arch of new teeth in the same day, using four implants. There is no need for bone grafts, and patients are saved time and money.
Onsite Dental Laboratory
The Cholakis Dental Implant Centre Dental Laboratory provides the cutting-edge science and artistic talent necessary for natural, beautiful results to replace patients' teeth.
Our restorative dentist will examine each patient's unique needs and recommend replacement tooth materials based on the patient's situation and lifestyle (either a high-grade acrylic resin or porcelain).
High-grade acrylic resins are designed to endure high pressures and functional demands. There is a naturally coloured gum material underneath for a beautiful and natural smile. The Cholakis Dental Implant Centre can match the shape and shade of the replacement teeth to the patient's natural teeth or according to the patient's wishes. The dental implants are not visible when looking at the patient's smile.
Periodontist and Restorative Dentist
At the Cholakis Dental Implant Centre, all implants are placed by either our Restorative Dentist or Periodontists.
After implant placement, the teeth are restored by our Restorative Dentist.

Patient education team members answer any questions and assist patients on their treatment planning journey. This makes the patient's experience from the start to finish.
