A Single Appointment for Implants and
Replacement Teeth
With new advances in technology, the Cholakis Dental Implant Centre is proud of to offer patients dental implants and replacement teeth in the same appointment. With the techniques we use, some patients will require bone grafts, which may or may not increase the treatment time. With our cutting-edge treatment techniques, many patients can have their dental implants placed and their replacement teeth fixed on top of the implants the same day. There are some exceptions, as certain cases may be made more complicated by pre-existing medical or dental conditions, and this will be discussed with each individual patient as part of the treatment planning process.
Nobel Biocare Immediate Function™ Procedures
The Cholakis Dental Implant Centre provides patients with Nobel Biocare™ Immediate Function™ treatment. This treatment involves a Kodak 3D CAT Scan to treatment plan positioning of the dental implant with computer software. The replacement teeth are also designed with the help of computer software. This planning and the production of the replacement teeth is done before the patient arrives for their appointment to place the dental implant and receive their replacement teeth.
All-on-4 Procedure
All-on-4 Treatment is an innovative approach to restoring an entire arch of teeth (upper or lower) and a great alternative to conventional dentures. This treatment uses 4 to 6 implants, does not require bone grafts, and the patient receives beautiful new teeth the same day the implants are placed. The 2 back implants are angled in a special manner to use surrounding bone as an advantage. The replacement teeth can be immediately fixed over the implants, giving patients a beautiful smile in only one appointment!
Other Nobel Biocare™ Immediate Function Techniques
In addition to the All-on-4 technique, Nobel Biocare Immediate Function procedures can be used to replace a single tooth or a few teeth. This reduces the amount of time needed for treatment and is more convenient for patients. Our Onsite Dental Laboratory ensures the replacement teeth are individualized for every patient to produce a beautiful and functional smile.
Not every single patient can be treated with Nobel Biocare Immediate Function techniques. A consultation at the Cholakis Dental Implant Centre will determine if these procedures are right for you.
